Elite Marine Surveyors has a team of ten surveyors and is dedicated to providing quality marine surveys in 72 hours or less. We prioritize delivering an elite customer experience by educating clients and making the intricacies of boats easy to comprehend for all buyers. We are a relatively new company that has expanded quickly, with aims to continue expansion and add more team members.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Administrative Assistant at Elite Marine Surveyors. The role is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL with majority of work able to be completed whilst working-from-home. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, handling phone calls with professionalism, light bookkeeping, invoicing, handling bookings and schedules for a team of surveyors, and assisting with executive tasks. Social Media management/posts would also be a bonus.

At present we are also trying to build a database of previous clients and brokers so we can send out marketing and promo emails on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills
  • Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills
  • Proficiency in Clerical Skills
  • Proficiency preferred in Word, Excel, Google Forms, Dropbox and Square processing (we can teach if no experience)
  • Experience preferred with database management and mail chimp or similar CRM
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Experience in the marine industry is a plus
  • Proficiency with Social Media
