JOB SUMMARY

The Civil Engineering Manager leads the technical execution of civil infrastructure for capital projects, providing oversight across engineering design, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and construction coordination. This role interfaces with internal departments, contractors, and government agencies to deliver projects on scope and within budget.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design, development, and review of civil engineering plans for infrastructure and building projects.
• Direct internal teams and consultants through planning, permitting, and construction phases.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Review technical submittals and construction documentation.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and staffing allocations.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, municipalities, and contractors.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges with innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports professional development and cross-functional problem solving.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Civil Engineering, or Related Field

EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years civil engineering experience on infrastructure or capital programs

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Etabs, and geotechnical tools
• In-depth knowledge of codes, materials, site development, and environmental compliance
• Skilled in engineering team management, vendor oversight, and design integration
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
