Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and manage compliance related to contractor licensing, permits, contracts, and regulatory requirements. This role ensures that all construction operations, vendors, and subcontractors operate within the boundaries of applicable laws and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of construction licensing processes, contract compliance, and regulatory frameworks governing the construction industry.
Responsibilities :
• Maintain and oversee compliance within contractor management platforms (e.g., ISNetworld), ensuring all documentation, safety programs, and performance metrics are current and meet client-specific requirements.
• Ensure all company operations, projects, and personnel maintain proper licensing and meet jurisdictional requirements.
• Manage and track construction licenses, certifications, and registrations across states and municipalities.
• Review and interpret construction contracts to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance with licensing, insurance, and bonding requirements.
• Oversee the permitting process, including renewals, approvals, and inspections, in coordination with project teams.
• Liaise with legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and municipal bodies to resolve licensing or contractual issues.
• Maintain a comprehensive compliance database for contracts, licenses, permits, and associated deadlines.
• Audit contract and licensing documentation regularly to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Support bid preparation by ensuring compliance with client and public procurement requirements.
• Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory and contractual obligations during planning and project execution phases.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction compliance, legal/contracts administration, or project controls.
• In-depth understanding of state and local contractor licensing laws and permitting processes.
• Strong knowledge of construction contract types (e.g., lump sum, GMP, design-build, public works).
• Experience with lien laws, bonding requirements, and contract risk analysis.
• Exceptional organizational and project tracking skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with compliance tracking systems, contract management tools, or ERP systems (e.g., Procore, CMiC, Viewpoint).

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule. Employees will be expected to work in the Westminster, CO office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
The expected base pay range for this position in the Denver, CO area is $99,000- $130,700. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.
