Title: Construction Coordinator

Location: Mobile, AL

Duration: 3 months

OVERVIEW

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team on the night shift for ongoing work at cement plants and terminals, focused on the installation of ash terminals. The ideal candidate will bring a solid construction background, strong coordination skills across multiple trades (electrical, mechanical, and civil), and a proactive attitude toward safety, communication, and execution.

Important: Candidates with nuclear experience will not be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate nightly construction activities on-site, ensuring work stays on schedule and meets quality and safety standards.
  • Act as the central point of contact for night shift operations, communicating effectively with foremen, subcontractors, and site management.
  • Oversee work across all three trades: electrical, mechanical, and civil.
  • Monitor progress, update logs, and provide handoff reports to day shift leadership.
  • Assist with material tracking, subcontractor management, and workforce logistics.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and coordinate with the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and job-specific protocols at all times.
  • Participate in nightly walkdowns, pre-task planning, and toolbox talks.
