Job Description

An established national builder with a strong foothold in large-scale commercial and mission-critical projects is looking for an experienced MEP Superintendent to join our high-performing field team on a state-of-the-art data center project, on a traveling basis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-moving, technically complex build that demands coordination, foresight, and best-in-class field leadership

Lead on-site execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes, ensuring seamless integration across trades.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with general superintendents, project managers, and quality teams to drive performance, resolve field issues, and maintain tight schedules.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure work meets contract documents, local codes, and owner expectations.
• Collaborate closely during commissioning and turnover, ensuring readiness of all MEP systems including power distribution, cooling, and life safety.
• Uphold a strong safety culture, enforce protocols, and model leadership by example.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of MEP construction experience, with 3+ years in hyperscale data center or mission-critical environments.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, cooling infrastructure (CRAH/CRAC), BMS controls, and backup power (UPS/gensets).
• Strong skills in field coordination, blueprint interpretation, and issue resolution.
• Track record of managing large subcontractor teams and delivering under tight timelines.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; First Aid/CPR a plus.
