Job Description

Plastpro, Inc. , a leading manufacturer of fiberglass doors and composite building products, is seeking an experienced and strategic Scheduling Manager to lead production scheduling operations across our manufacturing facilities.

This key leadership role is responsible for developing and managing efficient production schedules that align with customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing planning, team leadership, and ERP-based scheduling systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective production schedules to fulfill customer orders and meet internal deadlines
  • Analyze inventory levels, production capacity, and available resources to optimize workflow and reduce bottlenecks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Continuously adjust schedules in response to equipment availability, production changes, and shifting customer needs
  • Use ERP/MRP software and scheduling tools to track production and report on key performance metrics
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of scheduling coordinators to ensure operational efficiency and accountability
  • Conduct regular reviews of scheduling systems and recommend process improvements to reduce lead times and increase productivity
  • Ensure scheduling operations comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Partner with upper management to align scheduling strategies with broader company goals

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools and ERP/MRP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-functional collaboration
